A new website to help prepare for the new ‘normal’
Over recent weeks we’ve been asked to supply more and more ‘print’ related COVID-19 products to help businesses prepare for the return to work – and it’s worked really well. As many of these products were of a standard design, we simply added them to our Expert Banner website and customers could buy online.
But posters and banners soon became floor vinyls and hand sanitiser gel, and then sanitiser stations and visors, and face masks, and acrylic counter screens, and door mats – you get the picture, I’m sure.
And all of a sudden I felt that it just didn’t fit together very well on the banner website.
So in super quick time, we set out to launch a brand new website – CovidEssential.online – and it’s now live. (Many thanks to Todd Pitcher of Semibold for his help!)
There’s a great range of product available to order, and we’re adding new products to the site on a daily basis.
There have been many positives to take from this time of lockdown and pandemic. One of those is to acknowledge that we are blessed with some incredibly creative minds in the UK.
As companies have looked to pivot to a new business model, they have quickly adapted and created new products that have not only kept their staff employed, but have actively been used in the fight against COVID-19 – some of our products are from businesses such as these.
I also wanted this new website to be a useful resource for businesses trying to navigate their way to the new ‘normal’. Having spent a lot of time talking to customers and supplier, I realised that I’d acquired a good understanding of A: what the problems were affecting businesses, and B: how those problems could be addressed.
So, for example there’s links on the site to companies offering services that are also related to the situation we’re presently living through. These include business finance and bio-misting infection control – as well as to the HSE, GOV.uk and British Chambers of Commerce for guidance and advice. Again, we’ll continue to add to these links.
So please visit the website, CovidEssential.online. Take a look around. If you ‘re looking for a solution that we don’t yet have on the site, send me an email on email@example.com and I’ll look into it for you.
On the other hand, if you’re a company with a product that you think would be a suitable addition to the website, please send me the details.
Remember – we’re coming back stronger!
